Security Analyst
- Manhattan, New York - English speaking (French is a HUGE bonus, but not essential)
- Hybrid Working in Manhattan - South of Central Park
- Start Date : 15/04/2024 (Can be flexible)
- Initial Contract until 31/12/24 with extensions to follow
- Hourly Rate : 50 - 80 USD$
Customer Details
- Our customer is one of France's Biggest Systems Integrators who have expanded into North America, they have a huge European presence and now have a team based locally in North America to be dedicated to supporting their US customers, mostly with European attachments.
- They are running a Managed Service for one of Europe's Biggest Banking Groups out of their NY Office and need the support of TWO contractors to help with the workload that has got bigger since the turn of the year.
- Given the nature of their business, should they be happy with the work you're doing, there is room for extension onto a different account once this assignment reaches it's conclusion.
- Glocomms has supported the customer in Europe for the last few years and we are supporting them in their expansion into North America!
Job Details
Security Analyst
Primary responsibilities will include :
- Monitoring Security alerts, investigating potential security incidents and identifying abnormal activity in the customers environment, coordinating and executing incident response procedures.
- Documenting all incidents, conducting threat intelligence research, analysing data to identify potential security risks, performing vulnerability assessments.
- Help with the development and implementation of security policies, maintaining details records of incidents and working closely with stakeholders to address security concerns and to into security measures into the groups Operation practises.
Technical Requirements :
- Experience with Security tools including : SIEM, IDS/IPS, Antivirus solutions.
- Experience with at least 2 of Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Cortex and at least two of SentinelOne, TrendMicro, Trellix, MS Defender and Crowdstrike.
- Relevant Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a huge plus.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices.
Other Information :
- The customer has office locations all around the world, so you will be speaking with colleagues in Europe in the morning (hence why French is an asset) and colleagues in Asia at the end of the day.
