Glocomms partnered with a leading healthcare organization in the search for a Lead Security Engineer. You will be at the forefront of ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive healthcare data. Your role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to safeguard patient information and uphold compliance with healthcare industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the organization's security practices comply with relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and HITECH
- Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risks and ensure a secure operating environment
- Lead incident response efforts related to security breaches or incidents
- Foster a culture of security consciousness across the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in information security or a related role.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, particularly HIPAA and HITECH.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or HCISPP are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with AWS security and working in a cloud environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals.
