We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Security Infrastructure Engineer II to join our client's team out of St. Louis. We are working with a top global investment banking corporation to support the growth of their network and security teams. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in security infrastructure technologies and a proven track record in designing, analyzing, and supporting robust defense solutions. This role involves working closely with IT and business partners to ensure the security and integrity of our client's network, system, and application architectures. The Security Infrastructure Engineer II will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures, troubleshooting security incidents, and providing rotational after-hour support.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure technologies.
- Collaborate with IT and business partners to develop and support cyber security solutions.
- Analyze and enhance network security architecture and security measures.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for security operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Provide rotational after-hour support and manage change windows.
- Configure and manage firewalls, content filtering, and other security control frameworks.
- Monitor and analyze network, system, and application architectures for security threats.
- Utilize monitoring tools, logging tools, and ticketing systems to track and report security issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for security processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in network security engineering or a related role.
- Strong understanding of IP-based networking and networking components.
- Proficiency in security infrastructure technologies and cyber security solutions.
- Experience with firewalls, content filtering, and security control frameworks.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with systems monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, office productivity software, reporting software, and technical documentation software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with IT and business partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide rotational after-hour support and manage change windows effectively.
